Group Exercise

Why take classes? First of all, they're fun! There's an energy you participate in when you're sweating as a group, an energy that brings out the best in some people and makes us work harder than we would alone. You can meet a new workout partner (or a new friend, babysitter, etc.) though a class, and expand your network of support in your quest for wellness. Also there's the obvious perk of a class - it's less expensive than one-on-one training. Finding classes taught by qualified people who know how to make them interesting and fun can be a challenge - allow us to impress you with our innovation and quality.

Currently there are several class options to choose from. MKG Martial Arts (in Greenwood) have a very successful program called Bodysculpt - this is a great session of classes, and their drop-in prices are very reasonable. Ren Caldwell (principal of RenFitness) teaches cardio and strength-training classes as a part of this program - both are a great workout and balance each other nicely. Also, a new series of Boot Camp classes is starting in Volunteer Park (in Capitol Hill). These are intense hour-long workouts that take place outdoors with no equipment.
